A downloadable mod
Bosses+ is a new mod by Smashy and Golden Epsilon!
There are three new bosses, that each have a 50% chance to replace the bosses of their respective areas:
Desert: Giga Maggot
-> Burrows through and jumps out of the ground
-> Spits acid balls
-> There are legends that there are tribes of bandits that have learned to tame Giga Maggots and use them as steeds
Scrapyard: Big Sniper
-> Always vigilant for intruders
-> Sniper rifle has two modes: Piercing and Bouncing. Listen to the pitch!
-> Has an endless supply of Fire Grenades for keeping enemies away
Frozen City: Big Wolf
-> Just trying to take a nap, but is a light sleeper
-> Hates being woken up
-> R U N

This is a mod for Nuclear Throne Together, not a standalone game
is this compatible with titank? it replaces lil hunter
I'd have to check again to be sure, but if I remember correctly titank only replaces lil hunter, not the bosses+ boss.
Are these compatible with NT:TE, or Vagabounds?
They should be, but I haven't tested to see if anything specific breaks.
At most the issues should be minor stuff like Big Fish spawning not killing Giga Maggot
Yeah i tested it in a ton of my runs, works pretty fines. Do you plan anymore mods like this? I would love a boss for looped sewers, and looped labs.
There are ideas for those that I have, but if I finish them it'll probably be an update for this mod

really like the bosses just the sniper he's pretty dum he throws the grenades too far and you need to just zigzag around the shots and also why can he see through the walls I spawned he directly saw me and broke every wall between him and me the maggot doesn't go for you just jumps around and the big wolf I have nothing to say about him
Big Sniper seeing through walls is actually a relatively new addition, because it was too easy to cheese the pre-fight before - there are two different colors in the vision (orange and red), and the red area can see through walls (think of it as short-range scanners vs long-range scanners)
As for the rest of the fight, it's definitely harder than big dog but it's not that far out from the natural difficulty curve, at least according to the testers. Just make sure to clear out as many enemies as you can before fighting him. Thanks for playing the mod, though!
You are welcome, if you have gamma guts you can kill bosses fast like Big Dog you can kill him in 3 seconds also what's your favorite character?
Yeah, stuff without contact damage can melt fast from gamma guts. I tend to be best as fish, but robot's my favorite character from a design perspective.
for me it's steroids because I can use two guns at the same and every weapon is automatic and I play best as him although I can't decide if I like crystal better or steroids
